A waveguide cover is a small protective panel located inside the microwave, usually on the side wall of the cooking cavity.
Its purpose is to:
- Protect the microwave's internal waveguide and components from food, grease and moisture.
- Allow the microwave energy to pass through into the cooking cavity.
- Help protect the internal components from damage caused by food splashes.
Important: Keep the waveguide cover clean and free from grease and food debris. If the cover becomes damaged, burnt or shows signs of arcing, stop using the microwave and contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.
Do not remove or operate the microwave without the waveguide cover in place.
