To keep your steam generator clean and working effectively:
- Switch off and unplug the steam generator and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Empty any remaining water from the water tank after use.
- Rinse the water tank regularly with clean water.
- Clean the soleplate with a soft, damp cloth to remove any residue.
- Regularly descale the steam generator to help prevent limescale build-up and maintain steam performance.
- Follow the instructions in your user manual for the correct descaling process, as this may vary depending on the model.
- Once descaling is complete, rinse the water tank thoroughly with clean water.
Important: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scourers or sharp objects, as these may damage the appliance. Do not immerse the main steam generator or iron in water.
