Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Remove and empty the crumb tray, then wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not insert anything into the slots or immerse the toaster in water. Never use abrasive cleaners or metal utensils.
