Regular filter cleaning is an important part of your vacuum’s routine upkeep and maintenance. It helps maintain suction, performance and airflow.
- Switch off and unplug the vacuum before removing any filters.
- Remove the filters: Follow your model’s user manual for the correct removal procedure.
- Remove loose dust: Gently tap the filters over a bin to dislodge dust and debris.
- Rinse washable filters: If your manual confirms the filters are washable, rinse them under cold running water without detergent.
- Allow to dry completely: Leave rinsed filters to air-dry for at least 24 hours, or longer if needed, until completely dry.
- Refit securely: Reinstall all filters correctly before using the vacuum.
Important: Not all vacuum filters are washable. Never use the vacuum without its required filters fitted, and never refit a damp filter, as this may damage the appliance. Always follow your model’s user manual for filter maintenance instructions.
