If your air fryer is giving off a burning smell, please carry out the following checks:
- If the air fryer is new, a slight smell during the first few uses can be normal as manufacturing residues burn off. This should reduce after a few uses.
- Ensure all packaging materials, protective films and labels have been removed before use.
- Switch the air fryer off, unplug it from the mains and allow it to cool fully before checking the appliance.
- Check the heating element for any grease, food residue or debris that may have collected during use.
- Clean the basket, drawer and interior of the air fryer regularly to prevent grease build-up.
- Check that no food packaging, paper, plastic or other materials have come into contact with the heating element.
If the burning smell continues after cleaning and checking the appliance, or you believe there is a fault with the air fryer, and the product is within its warranty period, please contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.
