If your vacuum is leaving dust or debris behind, it may be due to a full dust container, blocked airflow, dirty filters or an issue with the floorhead.
- Empty the dust container: Remove collected dust and debris, and refit the container securely.
- Check the filters: Clean them according to your model’s user manual. Allow washable filters to dry completely before refitting.
- Check for blockages: Switch off and unplug the vacuum before inspecting the hose, tube, airways and floorhead for trapped debris.
- Check the brush roll: If your model has a rotating brush roll, remove tangled hair and debris and ensure it is fitted correctly.
- Check the floor settings: Select the appropriate setting for your floor type, if your model has adjustable settings.
- Clean the floorhead: Remove any visible dirt that could prevent effective pickup.
