If your carpet washer stops collecting dirty water before the tank is full, check the following:
- Check the dirty water tank: Empty it and ensure the lid, seals and tank are fitted securely.
- Check the float mechanism: If your model has a float or automatic shut-off, check for trapped debris and ensure it moves freely according to the user manual.
- Check for blockages: Switch off and unplug the machine before inspecting the hose, floorhead and accessible suction path.
- Check the filters: Clean accessible filters as instructed and allow washable filters to dry completely before refitting.
- Try again: Reassemble all parts securely before restarting the machine.
