Use the self-cleaning cycle after cleaning to rinse the roller and internal pipes, helping prevent unpleasant smells and residue build-up. The roller drying function helps ensure the roller is dry before storage.
How to Run the Self-Cleaning Cycle
- Check the tanks and filter: Ensure the clean water tank contains water, the dirty water tank is empty, and both tanks and the filter are correctly fitted.
- Position the cleaner: Place it firmly on its powered charging station.
- Start self-cleaning: Press the Self-Cleaning button below the display. The cycle rinses the roller and internal pipes, collecting the used water in the dirty water tank.
- Allow the drying cycle to run: The base fan and roller drying start automatically after self-cleaning and run for approximately 2 hours.
Using the Air Drying Function
- Use the Air Drying button on the base to start or stop the fan or adjust the drying time.
- If you need to remove parts for cleaning, stop the drying cycle, switch off and unplug the cleaner first.
- Allow the roller and base to cool before handling.
After Self-Cleaning
- Empty and rinse the dirty water tank after every self-cleaning cycle.
- Clean the roller and filter as described in the instruction manual.
- Refit the tanks and ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling it.
- Use the base’s drying function to dry the rinsed roller.
- Make sure all components are completely dry before storing the cleaner.
Important: Self-cleaning does not replace manually emptying the dirty water tank or cleaning its filter. Regular maintenance is still required.
