Flushing the upholstery brush and hose after use helps remove dirt and detergent residue, keeping the cleaner working effectively and helping prevent build-up.
Quick Flush After Use
- Switch off and unplug: Allow the upholstery brush to cool before attaching the Self-Cleaning Tool.
- Fit the Self-Cleaning Tool: Position it over the end of the upholstery brush.
- Check the tanks: Ensure the clean water tank contains water and the dirty water tank has enough room for the collected water.
- Reconnect power: Select Warm Water + Suction mode.
- Flush the tool: Hold the trigger for 10–20 seconds to rinse the brush and hose.
Thorough Flush After Heavy or Detergent Use
- Follow the preparation steps above.
- Hold the trigger for 1–2 minutes to flush the brush and hose thoroughly.
- Keep the hose horizontal and move it slowly so water reaches its inner surfaces.
- Repeat with fresh water until all traces of detergent and suds have disappeared.
After Flushing
- Release the trigger, switch off the cleaner and unplug it.
- Allow the unit to cool for approximately 5 minutes.
- Check that the tools are cool before removing them.
Important: Never remove attachments while they are hot. Always allow the cleaner and tools to cool before handling.
